Thank you for taking the time to explore St. Mary of the Purification Catholic School.  I am honored to be the principal of this school, partnering with our families on an educational faith-filled journey. I am a product of Catholic education. My family believes in the value of Catholic education, having witnessed its impact on all our lives.

Our school has been a hidden treasure in the Houston community for many years by educating the whole child and nourishing the soul of each student that joins our family. Our steady enrollment due to strong word-of-mouth referrals is a testament to our success. As we continue to successfully enrich young minds and souls to become our future servant leaders, we adhere to a challenging curriculum and standards set by the Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department. Our goal is to steer a child’s natural desire for inquiry and wonder about the world God has created by developing their ability to ask questions that lead to the knowledge and moral integrity required to navigate the modern world. St. Mary’s is designated by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston as a S.T.R.E.A.M. Synergy School. We incorporate a science, technology, religion, engineering, art, and math curriculum as part of this designation. The integration of this curriculum provides a richer technical and spiritual experience for our students.

Here, your children will encounter faculty and staff committed to revealing the God-given talents present in each.  Through high expectations for student success, they nurture intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and most importantly, spiritual growth.  Our graduates can expertly articulate written and oral ideas, collaborate with others, and think analytically, providing them with the confidence to embrace the challenges of higher education.
